PNA 201 - PNA - Nursing III7 credits
This course builds upon fundamental nursing skills and principles with theory of medical surgical nursing. Concepts of growth and development with an emphasis on the mature adult are presented. Nursing skills, medication administration, pharmacology, and nutrition are included. Documentation formats are discussed and utilized. Focuses on the delivery, in the medical surgical setting, of holistic nursing care to culturally diverse individuals with common health problems.
