RAD 101 - Radiographic Technique I

4 credits
Review of fundamentals of mathematics, units of measurement as they relate to radiologic physics and medical imaging. The structure of matter, basic electricity, magnetism, electrical physics, radiation physics, x-ray circuitry, x-ray tube, x-ray production, x-ray generating equipment and tube rating charts are discussed.Class Hours: 3Lab Hours: 2Prerequisite: Acceptance to Radiologic Technology Curriculum.Corequisite: LaboratoryOffered fall semester.
