ART 112 - 2D Design

3 humanities credits

This course is a basic introduction to the elements and principles of two-dimensional design. Students create projects using line, shape, value, texture, and color with a range of media, including the computer. Class critiques develop verbal communication skills and foster a facility with the language of art and design. All Visual Arts majors are encouraged to take this course during their first year.
