POL 120 - Police Administration

Police Administration introduces criminal justice students to the foundations of management, supervision, and leadership in law enforcement in the United States. Fundamentals ofleadership, including communication, decision making, and problem solving are explored, as well as the organizational structures and mission of policing. This course will also examine the hiring, training, and professional development processes within police agencies and the various challenges faced by police leaders, including complaints, grievances, and officer morale.
