COMM 116 - Audio Production

3 credits

A hands-on course designed to establish working skills in the various areas of audio production, including podcasting and audio storytelling. Students will study various types of audio production and learn modern audio recording techniques for broadcast, podcasts, film, and voiceovers. Areas covered include basic sound theory, audio recording, microphones (types and uses), audio consoles, and sound editing.
