3 credits

Human Behavior in the Social Environment offers the bio-psycho-social dimensions of human development and behavior. The bio-psycho-social perspective centers the individual within their environment and integrates the strengths, challenges, stressors, and life tasks that occur throughout the lifespan. The course explores the experiences of culture, race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomics, and the social realities of inequity in understanding human development and behavior.
