CE-WRITG 2132 - How to Write a Story

Whether your goal is to become a published writer, or you want to write just for the fun of it, this course will give you all the essentials necessary to craft a well-written story that people will want to read. In this course, you’ll learn how to develop great story ideas, write a story outline, develop realistic characters, write effective dialogue, write with action (show, don’t tell), and much more. Students will be given short writing exercises and will have the opportunity to share their work with the class and receive helpful critiques.
