AC 201 - Addiction Group Counseling

3 Credits

This course exposes students to an understanding of the multiple psychological and sociological factors that impact individuals, families and communities affected by psychotropic substance use and disorder and to the array of approaches and disciplines relevant to the successful prevention or treatment of substance use disorders. CHEM 145 Biochemistry of Addiction (Lecture and Lab) complements this course, addressing the biological and chemical aspects.
