AC 204 - Addiction Field Experience 2

This 160-hour internship course bridges substance use disorder counseling theory and practice, providing students with hands-on experience in diverse counseling settings. Through supervised application, students will integrate theoretical knowledge with essential counseling skills, preparing them for real-world substance use disorder interventions. Applicable as 160 hours toward the 300-hour experiential requirement for the NYS OASAS CASAC 12 Counselor Competencies.

Notes: 160 hours of participation over the course of the semester in an approved internship placement.

Prerequisites: Curriculum Chair permission
