SOC 101H - Introduction to Sociology - Honors

Honors Introduction to Sociology will appeal to students who are curious about the nature of the social world and who want to participate in a challenging academic environment that sharpens their analytical skills. Students are introduced to the basic principles of sociology and the concept of culture, to important primary texts, and to the challenge of independent research on contemporary issues and problems.

Prerequisites: ENG 101 - Writing and Research or ENG 101H - Writing and Research - Honors and permission of the Honors College Director.
