ENR 205 - Fluid Mechanics

Introduction to fluid mechanics. Dynamics of fluids in motion; laminar and turbulent flow, Bernoulli’s equation, friction in conduits; flow through fixed and fluidized beds. Study of pump and compressor performance and fluid metering devices.

Prerequisites: COMSC 101 - Computer Programming 1, ENR 203 - Mass and Energy Balances, MATH 230 - Calculus 3, PHYSC 121 - Engineering Physics 1
