Our comprehensive programs cover a spectrum of construction trades, providing hands-on training and industry-recognized credentials. SUNY Westchester is an authorized training provider for the National Construction Center for Education and Research (NCCER), and our faculty is trained by NCCER. HVAC pre-apprenticeship begins with the NCCER course this Fall 2025 and HVAC training Spring 2026. See below for details.

Program Details
HVAC Pre-Apprenticeship SUNY Westchester is an authorized training provider for the National Construction Center for Education and Research (NCCER), and our faculty is trained by NCCER. In addition, they are working professionals in the field. www.NCCER.org
The program consists of three modules: - MODULE 1: NCCER Core + OSHA 30 + Computers + Your Role in the Green Environment (FALL 2025 -see schedule options below)
- MODULE 2: HVAC Level 1 (SPRING 2026)
- MODULE 3: HVAC Level 2 + EPA 680 Certification (SPRING / SUMMER 2026)
A High School diploma or equivalent is required to register for Module 1. The course is delivered in English.
Participants of the program must take and successfully complete Module 1 prior to being accepted into Modules 2 and 3. MODULE 1, OPTION 1: DAYTIME IN VALHALLA Foundations in Construction: NCCER Core with Essential Computer Skills, OSHA 30 and Your Role in the Green Environment, IN-PERSON at SUNY Westchester Valhalla.
22 T/Th, Sept. 11 - Dec, 2 (skip 11/27), Tues. & Thurs., 9:30 am - 4:30pm (1-hr lunch), Gateway Center, Room 219, $2,157 + registration fee. #72332
CE-TECH 2047 The HVAC Level 1 (MODULE 2) program will follow for those accepted into the course.
