VET 205 - Veterinary Radiography

2 credits

An introduction to basic radiology, ultrasound and associated diagnostic techniques. The student will learn how to position a patient, calculate exposure values, expose radiographic film, and process radiographs for the veterinarian to examine. Includes the potential hazards of radiation and occupational safety. Lab portion held both on campus and at veterinary facilities.
