NUTR 145 - Clinical Practicum 1 3 credits
Application of the theory learned in NUTR 105 Nutrition 1 and NUTR 115 Nutrition 2 to the care of healthy and sick individuals throughout the life cycle, with emphasis on those in selected health care facilities; menu correcting, diet histories, use of patients’ chart to collect information; use of various tools to estimate calorie and nutrient intake.
Notes: NUTR 115 Nutrition 2 must be taken before or with this course.
Prerequisites: NUTR 105 Nutrition 1 or permission of Department Chair. Pre or Corequisites: Pre- or Corequisite: NUTR 115 Nutrition 2 .
Offered spring semester.
