HSERV 261 - Social Work Practicum I

This 120-hour practicum accompanies HSERV 260 - Social Work Group Practice. Students are assigned to social service agencies as interns for the semester. Students will apply the knowledge, values, and skills from their Social Work Group Practice course as they facilitate and co-lead group activities with clients.

Notes: Students are assigned as interns in social service agencies under the supervision of professional human services workers.

Corequisite: HSERV 260 - Social Work Group Practice
Prerequisites: HSERV 101 - Introduction to Social Work
