MECH 145 - Manual Manufacturing 2

Lecture and Laboratory course that expands on . This course expands on the use of machine tools studied in the first course as well as the set and operation of the Grinding Machine and the CNC Measures.

This course is a continuation of MECH 144 - Manual Manufacturing 1 . Covers the advance setup and operation of manual machine tools. Advanced operation of lathes, sawing and material separation and milling machines will be examined. Content will be focused on a single larger project with multiple components for manufacture made from varying materials, such as steel, aluminum, brass, plastics.

Prerequisites: MECH 144 - Manual Manufacturing 1
