CE-TECH 2047 - Foundations in Construction: NCCER Core with Essential Computer Skills, OSHA 30 and Your Role in the Green Environment

Ready to lay the groundwork for a rewarding career in the trades? Whether you’re drawn to the artistry of craftsmanship or the thrill of building from the ground up, Foundations in Construction – NCCER Core is your gateway to success. Dive deep into the essential skills endorsed by the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER). This course is a pre-requisite to the HVAC Pre-apprenticeship program and includes Essential Computer Skills for HVAC Professionals. OSHA 30 General Industry Training is designed to prepare supervisors and workers for workplace safety and health hazards. It covers topics such as jobsite safety, risk avoidance, workers’ rights, and employer obligations. The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) requires an official OSHA 30 card for employment in construction and other industries. Upon successful completion of the course participants will receive an OSHA 30 card to show employers on the job site. Geared toward entry-level craftworkers, this NCCER course provides pertinent information concerning the green environment, construction practices and building rating systems. This edition reflects LEED v4.1 with emphasis on standards for building design and construction; net zero buildings and intentional construction.
