PSYCH 232 - Child Development 3 Credits
This course will explore theory and research related to biological, physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development from conception to pre-adolescence. Specific topics will include: language development, family relationships, peer relationships, the development of thought/intelligence, identity development, moral development, aggression, personality development and the development of self-control.
Notes: Prior to Fall 2025, course was PSYCH 109 - Child Development
Prerequisites: PSYCH 101 - Introduction to Psychology or PSYCH 101H - Introduction to Psychology - Honors
