A Note about Program Requirements
The requirements listed below are for students entering into this program in Spring 2016. Students who entered the program during a prior semester will find their specific requirements listed in the Catalog under which they entered. Archived Catalogs are accessible through the dropdown menu above.
This skills-oriented program is designed for students wishing to begin or resume a career in office administration. In as little as two semesters of full-time study, students will develop or update the skills necessary to gain employment in an office environment that is increasingly dependent on computer and communications technologies. Those who are employed full-time during the day can enroll in evening courses on a part-time basis.
Through hands-on instructional activities, students learn to use the software programs and develop the administrative office skills that today’s employers require. Students enrolled in this program have the opportunity to obtain college credit for paid work experience through our Cooperative Education program. Those credits, in addition to all the credits earned for the Certificate, may be applied to an Associate Degree in Office Technologies.
