Program Description


 The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Interactive Technologies (ITECH) with a concentration of Digital Marketing is an innovative program that prepares students for emerging technology careers in Social Media Marketing, Web Design for User Experience and User Interface (UX/UI), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Digital Video and other interactive media for business solutions.

The ITECH Digital Marketing coursework offers students the opportunity to learn business management skills along with hands-on creative digital media proficiencies essential to social media marketing. The curriculum prepares students for entry-level positions or for transfer to a four-year institution. The program is applicable for professionals who need to enhance their existing business skills utilizing emerging technologies.

Program Learning Outcomes


Upon successful completion of this program, a student will:

  1. Create self-directed, concept-driven interactive product solutions that meet client goals.
  2. Demonstrate management skills for integrated media business solutions,
  3. Demonstrate the ability to apply digital design principles with an emphasis on user experience and user interface,
  4. Demonstrate the ability to make informed decisions based on the analysis of design thinking and digital data,
  5. Demonstrate the ability to design, build, and manage websites and interactive digital media.
