Program Description
The Mechanical Technology A.A.S. program at SUNY Westchester Community College prepares students to excel in today’s advanced manufacturing and engineering fields. With access to a state-of-the-art CAD lab and fully equipped mechanical labs, students gain hands-on experience in both design and production. The curriculum covers engineering drawing interpretation, CNC programming, 3D printing, and industrial maintenance, all taught by industry-experienced faculty. Through projects and real-world applications, students graduate ready to enter the workforce in roles involving manufacturing, product design, and technical engineering support. Program Learning Outcomes

- Students will be able to analyze engineering designs.
- Students will be able to design and construct parts using 3D printing and CNC technology.
