Program Description

The Mechanical Technology A.A.S. program at SUNY Westchester Community College prepares students to excel in today’s advanced manufacturing and engineering fields. With access to a state-of-the-art CAD lab and fully equipped mechanical labs, students gain hands-on experience in both design and production. The curriculum covers engineering drawing interpretation, CNC programming, 3D printing, and industrial maintenance, all taught by industry-experienced faculty. Through projects and real-world applications, students graduate ready to enter the workforce in roles involving manufacturing, product design, and technical engineering support.

Program Learning Outcomes

Students will be able to design and construct parts using 3D printing and CNC technology.
