Program Description

The Accounting and Finance A.S. program at SUNY Westchester Community College provides a strong foundation in essential accounting principles, financial management, and hands-on skills like computerized accounting and federal income taxation. Students will gain valuable real-world experience needed for entry-level roles in accounting firms, corporations, banks, and small businesses, as well as prepares students for transfer to a four-year program. Whether you aim to become a Certified Public Accountant or work in corporate finance, this program equips you with the practical and analytical expertise needed to thrive in today’s financial landscape.
