Program Description


The Marketing A.S. program at SUNY Westchester Community College equips students with hands-on experience through projects in new product launches, sales presentations, and digital marketing strategies. With courses covering consumer behavior, advertising, digital marketing, and professional selling, students gain insight into core marketing concepts. Taught by experienced faculty, the curriculum integrates real-world applications using cutting-edge business software, preparing students to excel in both academic transfer and professional settings. Graduates are well-positioned to transfer to top four-year marketing programs or to enter the workforce with valuable skills and industry connections.

Program Learning Outcomes


Upon successful completion of this program, a student will:

  1. Demonstrate an understanding of the marketplace and customer needs.
  2. Demonstrate an understanding and application of the marketing mix to real world decision-making.
  3. Demonstrate an understanding of Integrated Marketing Communications as it relates to executing the marketing plan.
  4. Demonstrate knowledge of consumer behavior and the impact of marketing on consumers.
