Program Description
The Interactive Technologies A.A.S. with a concentration in Digital Marketing at SUNY Westchester Community College equips students with the skills to thrive in today’s fast-evolving digital media landscape. This interdisciplinary program combines foundational marketing principles with expertise in social media, web design, and digital content creation. Students gain hands-on experience in areas like UX/UI design, digital storytelling, and data analysis, preparing them for roles in digital marketing, advertising, and brand management. Whether starting a new career or enhancing professional skills, graduates will be well-positioned to enter or advance in the exciting field of digital marketing. Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this program, a student will: - Develop a digital marketing strategy: Create a comprehensive digital marketing plan, including setting goals, identifying target audiences, and selecting appropriate channels.
- Leverage social media marketing: Effectively utilize various social media platforms to engage with audiences, build brand awareness, and drive traffic.
- Execute content marketing: Create and distribute valuable content (e.g., blog posts, articles, videos) to attract and retain customers.
- Analyze digital marketing performance: Ability to make informed decisions based on the analysis of digital data and design thinking best practices.
- Digital analytics: Utilize tools like Google Analytics to track website traffic, user behavior, and campaign performance.
