Program Description
The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Interactive Technologies (ITECH) with a concentration of Digital Marketing is an innovative program that prepares students for emerging technology careers in Social Media Marketing, Web Design for User Experience and User Interface (UX/UI), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Digital Video and other interactive media for business solutions.
The ITECH Digital Marketing coursework offers students the opportunity to learn business management skills along with hands-on creative digital media proficiencies essential to social media marketing. The curriculum prepares students for entry-level positions or for transfer to a four-year institution. The program is applicable for professionals who need to enhance their existing business skills utilizing emerging technologies.
Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this program, a student will:
- Create self-directed, concept-driven interactive product solutions that meet client goals.
- Demonstrate management skills for integrated media business solutions,
- Demonstrate the ability to apply digital design principles with an emphasis on user experience and user interface,
- Demonstrate the ability to make informed decisions based on the analysis of design thinking and digital data,
- Demonstrate the ability to design, build, and manage websites and interactive digital media.
